Make a to-do list by talking.
Hushdo is a voice recorder that turns what you say into a to-do list. Talk for a minute, ramble included, and it pulls out the tasks and the dates, grouped by day. It runs on your phone, with no account and no cloud.
How a voice to-do list works in Hushdo
- Say it, however it comes out. Tap once and talk. Backtracking and filler are fine; your own words stay in the transcript.
- It finds what needs doing. Tasks and dates appear as a short list, grouped by day, with a one-line summary.
- Send them where you keep your plans. Move a task to your calendar or Reminders when you are ready.
YOU SAID
“Okay so, I really need to renew the car insurance by Friday, and ask Dana whether Saturday is still on, oh and the boiler engineer wants a call back.”
HUSHDO HEARD
- Renew car insurance Fri
- Ask Dana: is Saturday still on? Today
- Call back the boiler engineer Today
Why use voice instead of typing a list
- Most to-dos arrive when your hands are busy: walking, cooking, driving home. Speaking takes seconds.
- You do not have to sort anything while you talk. Sorting is the slow part, and Hushdo does it for you.
- Everything is searchable later, by meaning, so you can ask what you said about a person or a plan.
Private by design
Speech recognition and the AI that finds your tasks run on the phone. Your audio and notes are never uploaded, there is no sign-up, and after a one-time model download it works in airplane mode. The models are checked against a signed, public list. Read the full privacy notice.
What it will not do
- It does not replace your task manager. It gets tasks out of your head and into a list you can act on.
- It does not guess perfectly. Check the tasks it found; you can edit them.
- English only at launch. Hushdo is not released yet; this page describes what we are building.

Questions
Can I make a to-do list just by talking?
Yes. In Hushdo you record a note, and it finds the tasks and dates in what you said and lists them by day.
Does the voice to-do list need an internet connection?
Not after setup. A one-time download of the speech and AI models is needed, then recording, transcribing and sorting run on your phone, so airplane mode works.
Does it send my voice to a server?
No. Transcribing and sorting run on your phone. Hushdo has no server that receives your audio or notes.
Which phones does it support?
iPhone and Android. Newer phones get every feature, including Ask my memory. Older phones transcribe and use simpler task sorting.
